Wildlife Rehabilitation is a profession involving the treatment and care of sick, injured and orphaned wild animals with the goal of releasing them back 2 the wild. For rehabilitation to be considered successful, released animals must be able to survive on their own and be an integral part of their species population.
Although the work can be stressful and demanding the reward is to see an animal recover and be returned to the wild.
Back 2 the wild rehab is dedicated to the wildlife of Michigan. We are located in St. Clair County, but we receive calls from all over southeast Michigan. We are here to inform and educate the public on keeping wildlife wild. Our focus is to treat the injured, raise the orphans, and return them back to where they belong..in the wild.
Our wildlife rehabilitation work relies on your donations and our own pockets to nurse the sick, injured and orphaned back to health.

As always, we can not stress to the public enough that you must be licensed, and have the proper training to possess any wild animal.
Wild animals are not meant to be caged as pets. Their natural instincts will always be within them. They belong in the wild.
